The Book Shop has an extensive collection of Canadiana ranging from literature to history. Within Canadiana itself we have a fairly large number of British Columbian and Okanagan titles. These local interest books focus mostly on history and travel, but a few field guides to flora and fauna are also available. A small number of these items are already available online and a few examples can be seen below. However, the collection within the store far exceeds the online selection. Many of our local history books look at very specific aspects of the region's past, or local family history. Most are printed in paperback by independent publishers and are quite inexpensive. What we have available is always changing and tends to have a very local appeal; it's for this reason that less of these titles are made available online, but please don't hesitate to contact us if there is a certain title that you're looking for. |
